Cristiana Drago is a Ph.D. candidate in Bioengineering and Medical-Surgical Sciences at Politecnico di Torino, where she works in the Department of Applied Science and Technology under the supervision of Francesca Frascella and Ignazio Roppolo. Her research focuses on smart polymeric biomaterials, DNA-responsive hydrogels, light-based additive manufacturing, and biomedical applications of three-dimensional printing. She earned a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2024 with an experimental thesis on 3D-printed DNA-responsive hydrogels. She is currently conducting research at the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden as a guest researcher.
