Claudia Crocini is a group leader at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin working on cardiac diseases with a focus on gender medicine and mechanotransduction. Herr team employs stem cells, bioinformatics, and advanced imaging techniques to study cardiac function and pathological conditions. audia obtained her PhD in Biophysics at the European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy (LENS) of the University of Florence in 2015 working on state-of-the-art imaging methods to study cardiac biology. he then moved to the United States to work at the University of Colorado Boulder with Prof. Leslie Leinwand, distinguished professor and world-leading expert on cardiac disease and gender medicine. Claudia continued her training in Berlin at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine before starting her independent research group in 2023. Claudia has authored 30+ publications and has been awarded three prestigious post-doctoral fellowships, including a Marie Curie Fellowship.
