Adriana Zambotti holds a Master's degree in Biology from the University of Genoa, earned in 1997. She continued her academic path there, completing a PhD in 2002 with a focus on cellular and molecular biology. After earning her doctorate, she pursued postdoctoral research at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and at the Max Planck Institute for Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden. During this time, she contributed to research on fundamental biological processes using advanced cell imaging and molecular techniques. Following her postdoc work, she returned to Genoa, where she currently teaches at a grammar school. Drawing on her scientific background, she brings a passion for biology and critical thinking into the classroom, aiming to inspire young minds and foster a deeper appreciation for science in everyday life.
